Refuelia's map is only as good as the reports, reviews and comments drivers leave on it. These rules keep that data useful and safe for everyone.
False information. Don't report a station as open, closed, out of fuel, or anything else you haven't actually observed or aren't reasonably confident about. Don't post fake reviews for a station you haven't visited.
Harassment. No abuse, threats, hate speech, or targeting of station staff, operators, or other users.
Personal data. Don't post anyone's phone number, home address, license plate, or other personal information in a comment or review — including your own.
Spam. No advertising, promotional links, or repeated identical submissions.
Dangerous or illegal content. No content promoting illegal activity, fraud, or anything that could put someone's safety at risk.
Specific, current, first-hand observations: fuel or charger availability, actual prices, queue length, opening hours that differ from what's listed, and photos of the pump/price board where relevant. Confirming an existing report ("still accurate") is just as useful as adding a new one — it raises the station's trust score.
Submissions pass through automated spam and abuse filtering, and reports flagged by other users or by our filters are reviewed manually. Content that breaks these guidelines can be removed, and repeated or serious violations can result in a submitter being blocked from contributing further. Automated filtering means occasional false positives are possible — contact us if your report was removed in error.
